View Full Version : Second time at old park more silver

Went back to old park I hunted yesterday and today I was detecting solo for 5 hours. Today hunt was little better then yesterday, I was surprised how many more wheat's was there since park was not that big and also yesterday I pulled 20 wheat's. Today hunt produced 1936s, 1941d, 1945s Merc's, 1946 Rosie, 1909 V-Nickel, 1919 Buff, total of 28 wheat's( new record for single hunt), two sterling silver rings(not in the same hole :grin:) and about $8 in clad. I think that park is not been hunted for long time so next weekend guess where I will be :peace:. Thanks for looking and HH. Mike

That sounds like an awesome spot! I'd be there ever second I could if I were you. Congrats!

Sounds like a very fun park to hunt. Lots of great targets coming out of the ground there.
Congrats on the silver dimes, pile of wheat cents and the rings. :clapping: Fantastic hunting.
