View Full Version : Small silver .... Twice

:thinkingabout: Third time out with the E-trac was at the old fair grounds. A place i know has been hit hard over the last 50 years.
I found some silver there in March when the ground was still partly frozen with my V3i.

Today the E-trac found me a 1947 rosie and a 1920 merc.
Also got a 1925 wheat a game token and 10 and a half cents.
It's got me digging deep, and finding wheat and silver. :grin:

Wow, great hunt! Congrats on the silver! That's a nice Merc!

Those poor Zincolns don't hold up too well in the ground, do they? lol

Great job, the Merc is a great looking coin. I think it is one of the nicest coins that the government ever turned out. Congrats on two silvers. thumbsup01

Yes! They do. But fewer people are dropping old silver coins nowadays. :grin:

If you are finding silver this quickly, then it will give up a good amount more. Remember it's not just the deep silver it can find, it's the 4-5 deep masked silver that is is excellent on finding. Congrats on another silver from there. :clapping:
