Cheap Thrills

I'm still hitting that same spot that I found my last two silvers and wheats .I've gotten in two more hunts since I last posted .I didn't post because one day was just a little over a couple more bucks in clad and three wheats 46,56 and 57 and the next day was about a buck and a half in clad . I was pleasantly surprised when this 1943S Washington popped up after tumbling my clad last night . In 19yrs. of detecting this is only the second time a silver coin has gotten past me and showed up after tumbling . The first was a Roosie several years back . It's a nice surprise to find them this way but not quite as thrilling as that instant rush you get when pulling them out of the ground . I'm betting this is the 3 deep dark coin that was a one way signal at the base of a tree I hit . The light wasn't good and I figured just another Eagle backed nasty looking clad and threw it in the pouch .When I dug it it was straight up on edge . Prior to that find , no more than 5 away I had found a pocket drop consisting of a clad quarter and two clad dimes amongst a few rusted small nails . I figured this silver quarter was worthy of a post , God knows , they sure are getting tough to find around here . Thanks for looking . :groovy:
