I was told today in an earlier post that I needed to quit reading the posts and get out and dig. So, I took the advise and dug a few hundred holes this afternoon. Got close to three dollars in clad, my second Merc (44) and 6 more Wheaties. Thanks for the advise. Phil

Nice looking Merc. :clapping: Looks like it had a nail laying across it too. Is that a steel wheatie?? Glad you had a chance to do some digging thumbsup01

Acting on the advise paid off nicely. :clapping: Sweet merc, and the clad will add up quickly too. :happydance01: I better gather mine soon to cash it in. I need a few more detecting accessories. :yes:

Phil, glad to see you're out digging. Another merc, 6 more wheats and more clad. .....And there rounding the second corner with Mudder still in the lead.....congrats on all your finds

The Merc was laying next to a broken piece of cast iron pipe. I almost never got the rust stain off my hands. There were two 43 Wheaties in this group. I went back to this site today, but only found some loose pocket change. 8/
