But they were good ones - a nickel and this 10 K gold ring. After this I went back to an old site ( several houses) and dug the 3 silver dimes, one wheat & a bunch of clad. The Merc is 1941, the Roosevelts are 55 & 64. The large item on the right is a 1970 mexican peso. The large item on the left is a St Christopher medal. No site is ever worked out, as they say.

I ended up with 60 coins & misc stuff.

Nice looking ring Steve  The nickel is ok too lol I guess no one plays in tot lots when it's 105 degrees out? Congrats on the ring and the nice silver too. No place is ever hunted out is right lol We found that out today too. I love seeing the gold come out of tot lots. :clapping: :clapping: :happydance01: I have to get myself into one yet this year :thinkingabout:

Beautiful ring, Steve. Congrats! :clapping:
yeah i bet those tot lots replenish themselves sooner in the spring and fall out there , those Arizona summers are to brutal to be horsing around on those playscapes . i hear those slides can give you a nasty burn :shocked04: :stretcher: .
very nice ring Steve and congrats on the silver my friend.

Angel - Thanks - I have dug 17 gold this year - pretty good for a non beach area .
Del - another advantage of our weather is the kids play outside year round. Even in January they are all over the parks. steve

In an odd way, your summer is like our winter. No one plays in the tot lots then lol

Nice silver. The heat and drought have been keeping me away from detecting the last few weeks. Can't wait for some cooler temps.

We have been having relief that's very unusual for us in the desert in late July. Low to mid 90's all week and low humidity. I hope your temps change soon, steve
