Around 6:30 tonight the temperature eased its way down to the upper range of comfortable detecting weather.
I decided to take advantage of the situation and headed to the park after dinner tonight.
Picked up a few wheats and a quarter. It is my first silver quarter from this park this year. :happydance01:

Glad it cooled off a bit and you were able to pick axe a hole in the ground to find them coins ;) Love seeing silver :smitten: I just wish I could see it more often lol

My hats off, to you guys/gals that get out in this weather. |)

I'll have to wait until Fall, or a LOT cooler temps before I'm doing any swinging. Oops, I don't know if I like the way that sounds. lol

Yup, it cooled down to 90! Way to take advantage and score some silver! This lack of rain and heat is really cutting in to our detecting time.

Nice that you could get out. Congrats on the silver and wheats. How tough was the ground?

I'm glad that someone can get out there and hunt! Yesterday near here the town of Taylorville, IL had a heat index of 120 which was the highest in the country. I'll have to settle for studying my metal detecting books and watching E-Trac videos on YouTube. lol

Congrats on the silver quarter and wheat cents! :clapping:
