Tesoro Sand Shark

I will be getting mey Sand shark very soon. What should i set it at to get the best results.

Just noticed no one responded to your post. I have a shark and run it as follows:

Full Pulse
Normal setting although I really dont se the difference between the two
volumn at what you need to hear for the conditions
Threshold as low as possible so you can hear the slightest tone change.

I find that you really need to be in with the SS and listen really closely. Once I started doind that I have now gone on a 11 out of 14 tear of finding at least one piece of jewelry including 5 silver rings, 2 gold rings, one gold bracelet and the rest costume. You will get use to hearing a double blip and recognize that as iron or a bobby pin. I dig all though since you never really know with a PI machine. There are plenty of SS users on this site so ask away if you have any questions. HH

Thanks Stan for the info. been going out and trying to learn the SS as much as I can. Much different then my Fisher F75

the shark will talk to you the more you use it. I can now almost predict what I am digging as much as I ca with my XLT. Good luck and HH.
