Continuing to work a new site I started on this Monday -- yesterday started gridding the areas that turned up the most older coins, ended up with 5 Jeff nickels before 1949 with no war nickels >{ >{, a buff, and no silver >:#. It seems clear that the competition has cherrypicked the high notes, and left the old nickels for me.

Kept working the site today and scored some more old nickels, including another bison. At least they missed a couple of mercs in this section happydance02, including a 23S which fills a hole in my merc album. Total hunt time 6 hours. Thanks for

Old park, but its kinda big. It took a couple of days of just sampling around to find what seemed like the most promising areas.
