Sunday night hunt at the park produced some keepers. :happydance01:
As you can see the Merc was entombed in moist clay. Lots of sulfide build up. I used the cleaning
method described Here (http://www.americandetectorist.com/forum/index.php?topic=813.0) to remove most of the tarnish and keep the natural looking patina.
Quite a difference in the before and after pictures of the Merc.

Popped out a few wheats and this 1942 Half Penny too.

Aside from the bugs, it was a very pleasant evening in the park.
