got out for a bit today and hit a few holes with Gary.he's been to these sites before but,we wanted to give it another shot.
had a decent day.a draped bust large cent(1803 i think) the tiniest batwing buckle i have ever dug.a bridle rosette,a lead musketball,a lead bag seal, a old brass & iron padlock & a broken pair of old spectacles.
Gary got a few flat buttons.

thanks guys! yeah bugs were not a factor, thought the mosquitos were gonna be bad..not the case today.
any idea what that button like convex disc is with square hole? it's a not a lantern knob.size of a nickel.could it be a button?
we find alot of them Dave and have come to the conclusion they are a back plate to a knob for a desk drawer or cupboard .
