View Full Version : Winner of American Detectorist Find Award -- May

We have had such a great number of excellent finds posted on this forum that we have decided to create a second Monthly award. This award is given to the member voted to have the most remarkable, noteworthy, and rare find during the period immediately preceding the award, and is chosen from among the banner finds at the top of the page.

We are still in the process of detailing the criteria for the two monthly awards, which are equal in importance and have been very hard to select because of the many wonderful detectorists we have on this forum. We will post more information on that soon.

Please join the American Detectorist staff in congratulating HEAVYMETALNUT (Dave) for his American Detectorist Find of The Month award! The title was bestowed upon Dave for his excellent find, the George Washington Inaugural Button (http://www.americandetectorist.com/forum/index.php?topic=5936.0).

Dave :omg: that GW button is a beautiful piece and holding it in person was an awesome highlight of our park hunt . the pictures don't do it justice its definately one of the best star and eagle varieties i've seen and really earned the Find of the Month award . mega-congrats |:confused:) :peace: |:confused:) :peace: again
