Fire Fighter 43

I found this token a couple of weeks ago at and the site of an old one room school house.
When I found it I had no idea what it was, so after a little research I found out it is a Civil War trade token. After a long soaking it cleaned up fairly nice. This is a first for me and I would suspect very rare for my area. In fact I've never heard of one being found around here. It is dated 1863 and is a Friedrich Thiele Meat Market Token. The meat market was located in Milwaukee. I found it about 35 miles NW of Milwaukee in a field. If only this thing could tell a story. Finds like this are exactly what I love about this great hobby. Not only do I get a history lesson I also have nice piece of history and a story to tell. I've attached the video of the hunt when I found the token.
