Early Memorial Day Hunt

Tried a new spot today. It's an old school built in 1936 . Lots of ground to cover. Found a 1926 SLQ, Wheats, '29, '40, '41, '46, '50 and a deep buckle. Got about 1.5 hours in and started to thunder, so I headed out.

did you get out before all the rain and thunder Mike or just after  that SLQ is a beauty :loveit: congrats .

<: A big congrats on the SLQ. She's a beauty.
Not much time to hunt but very productive nonetheless.
Looking forward to your return trip post. :->

Looks like that place is gonna be a great spot for you. A SLQ on the first trip is awsome :clapping: Can't wait to see some more silver from that place. thumbsup01

I got to the school early (0545). Found the SLQ within the first 5 minutes. Then the clouds and thunder moved in. I figured being in an open field with a metal object in my hand was not a good idea lol

That SLQ sure is sweet!! When you texted me I couldn't wait to get out of work to meet up happydance02 I ended up getting 5 wheats. There has got to be more silver lurking. Next time we'll work our way over to the school

Looking forward to a good hunt :peace:

Congrats on the great hunt! I absolutely love finding Standing Liberty quarters, they are one of my favorite coins. I know it sounds weird, but I would rather find a SLQ than a Barber quarter.

Good job, and I hope you find lots more!
