Tried a new spot today. It's an old school built in 1936 . Lots of ground to cover. Found a 1926 SLQ, Wheats, '29, '40, '41, '46, '50 and a deep buckle. Got about 1.5 hours in and started to thunder, so I headed out.
I got to the school early (0545). Found the SLQ within the first 5 minutes. Then the clouds and thunder moved in. I figured being in an open field with a metal object in my hand was not a good idea loldel link=topic=6013.msg71019#msg71019 date=1306801500 said:did you get out before all the rain and thunder Mike or just after  that SLQ is a beauty :loveit: congrats .
