Howdy Folks!
I finally got out to do some hunting. Between having a nearly record breaking amount of rain the last 2 weeks (after a prolonged drought!), and working, and spending time on the shooting range, and taking class for our CCW permits, time has been scarce lately. My opportunities to get out and hunt have been few and far between.
That being said, yesterday wasn't much better. I anticipated a whole day of hunting, but got distracted with several other issues. First I had to take my wife over to the garage to drop off her car for needed repair work. I went to the bank only to realize the money was still at home in my other pants. After returning to the homestead to fetch it, we headed over to the bank and I made my deposit. Then we headed out to enjoy breakfast. With a whole bunch of flapjacks and bacon under my belt, we loaded up our guns and ammo and headed for the range. We spent a couple of hours shooting, and I was practicing trigger control in particular.
I dropped the wife off at home and headed out to hunt around 2:00pm. Using the MXT Pro this time, I went to a location where I've had luck before. Within 10 minutes, I had a nice 14k gold charm in my pouch.

I cleared the area of a lot of coins when the wife called to say her car was ready to be picked up! So, I headed home to get her to the garage. I dropped her off and went back to hunting. In all, I figure I visited 5 locations and stopped when it started getting dark. The wind was troublesome all day, blowing hard and steady.

Among things I found were:
139 coins, 1 Avon ring, 1 Rat token, several kid type jewelry items, some I-Ching coins, and a bad dose of sore feet!

My take was:
23 Quarters = $5.75
16 Nickels = $1.30
36 Dimes = $3.60
62 Pennies = $0.62
2 Pres Dollars = $2.00
Total = $13.27
Coin Count = 139 Coins.
