I went out this morning between the rain drops >{ - hunted in the woods where I had found my first large copper. I thought I found the needle in the haystack or a fluke having not finding much of anything since. I had a penny hit and WOW :omg: - another large copper 1818 my oldest coin to date. I couldn't believe I found another one. Now I think there is a lot more to be discovered. Also found a dime and zinc penny - had to quit because of the rain.

Wow! That's a great find! After finding two Large Cents there I would definitely hunt that place thoroughly. So cool to find a coin that old with a readable date! Congrats!

There must have been something going on there other than what you can see now  Maybe dirt brought in, or maybe an old house stood somewheres around there, a long, long time ago. Neat copper. :clapping:
