Today I hit a new site, one located here in MA. It was a bit of a distance from my house, but I had to try it out sooner or later.
I arrived at the site at about noon. Though there are roads on both sides of the small park it was pleasantly quiet, with hardly any traffic to speak of, perfect for detecting such sites. But there was one problem - biting gnats! :hairpulling: They were all over me! :shocked01: I continued detecting and soon found a mercury dime, but those gnats had me thinking of leaving the place. :crying02: Then I picked up a 1908-D Barber dime. At that point I said okay gnats, I'm not leaving, so bring it on!! :boxing: :boxing: Then they proceeded to beat me up mercilessly. rofl rofl But at least I left the park with several keepers.
Well, what have we here?
