Went out for an hour and a half Thursday with Diane, went to a spot where good finds are rare, first two targets wheaties the third a really crusty Indian. Wheats are 1919, 1949 Indian is 1:eyebrow:thinkingabout:
Any suggestions on how to clean the Indian enough to get a date?

nice hunt, Robw has a great method for cleaning coppers. I'm sure he will respond.
I use a method...it's detailed in the section cleaning and storage of finds
It works very well, if there's a date you can get it. It will get rid of all green corrosion. You may have to change the soda a few times and briush in between changing the soda out for that one.
I've used this method on LC's, Indians, wheats, and it works great....better than sandpaper :poke: lol
