Sunrise And Silver!

Doug and I went out to an old park getting an early start 7:00 AM! You have to get out early before the silver can wake up and hide better! We both started out with wheats and then as usual Doug struck silver a 1960 Rosey. That was quickly followed by another Rosey a 1950. I was next on the board with my first Silver Washington Quarter a nice 1952-D. Doug then took over the heavy lifting with a 1943 Washington. After both of us finding a King George the VI Canadian penny along with some wheats Doug hit the home run, a 1942 Walking Liberty Half! I had to go, grandkids soccer game, Doug stayed for awhile and added to his wheat total. It is an experience to hunt with Doug he is an amazing detectorist, a regular digging machine, he ended up with 64 Memorial pennies, 19 clad dimes, 8 clad quarters, 18 wheats, KG Canadian penny, 2 Roseys, silver Washington, silver Walking Liberty, some relics and tons of trash. We literally dug at least 40 screw tops! So in a little over6 hours he dug at least 150 plugs!
