I got off work and eased to a place by the house here. Didn't have the camera but will take some pics when it gets back from Grandyoungun pictures at a pumpkin patch. Anyway, on the outer edge of an old fairground, this place had 3 silver quarters inside of a 6 inch circle. All silver quarters. A 1935, 43, and a 44. The 35 and 43 are pretty worn, the 44 looks great. It actually looks like it was made out of a different mix of metal and silver. Here I feel like I've hit the motherload! They were at 5-6 inches and close to an old oak tree. Only got to hunt about 20 minutes then off to the house. Like Arnold said......I'll be back

75cents in silver isn't a bad 20 minutes hunt. thumbsup01

Three silver quarters in a 20 minute after work hunt! :shocked04: Definitely need to hit that place when you have more time, imagine what else must be there!

Sounds like a great place to hunt, Jack.
Have you ever hunted there before?
Those silvers are just a glimps of what's to come if you just hit a small section on the outer edge. Good luck out there... I'm sure you'll have plenty of finds to make us all jelous soon enough!

Good diggin's! thumbsup01

Lucky that ol' oak tree was there, Jack. I'd say that's what helped that sweet silver to see th' light of day again! thumbsup01
