I thought the rain was gonna let up so I ventured off into the woods after an old cellar hole. By the time I reach the site I realize how cold and miserable I allready am. I figured this spot had been pounded to death and was losing ambition pretty quick. Just as I told myself..what are you doing out here? I got an awesome signal on the prizm. Buckles and Coppers sound very similar on my machine so I was certain it was a large copper....nope...a sweet little shoe buckle frame! My body warmed up...my ambition skyrocketed and I was off losing track of time again! The next 3 hours was pretty descent....I got 2 Indians 1865, 1873...buttons, one nice Large Colonial button. A key....not pictured is a mess of crap like lantern heads, oxe shoes, oxe knobs, tin scrap, brass odds n ends....I will definitely be making a return trip to this site. Thanks for lookin everyone!

I almost went out today too lol Better you than me Jesse rofl Nice hunt and a sweet buckle. :clapping: Judging from the finds, that site has nice colonial items and it goes right into the early Indian Head days. Them are the low mintage years |). A perfect combination. Glad you survived the hunt thumbsup01

It was raw out there. :frozen: >:\ >:\ The site looks pretty old, it has a HUGE center hearth chimney. I'm sure there's a few coppers layin around back there. I just gotta sift through the iron. Indian Heads are still exciting so I was happy.
