Bouncy signal after changing battery on E-Trac

Yesterday while I was out, I had to change my battery back on my E-Trac. It operated fine for a bit, then. I started getting a lot of interferrence. Even in the air the signals were bouncing everywhere. I couldn't hunt!

I thought about it for a moment, and remebered that the battery pack got a bit dusty while I was changing it out. So I pulled it out, wiped it off, and blew the dust inside the battery chamber, worked just fine after that.

Just thought I'd share this tid bit in case anyone else encounters it.

I always thought it was you that made my machine act funny lol Now I know it's you and dust. lol Gotta get an allergy shot and take care of that. Thanks for the tip Rob. I have noticed that my machine does that sometimes. Also does it sometimes when I swap coils. I always thought it was because it was late in the day and the sun was affecting it as it was setting, changing the magnetic field or somehow affecting it. I will keep the battery clean

:thinkingabout: Hmmm....Good tip! thumbsup01
Thanks! I'll have to file that into the ol'memory banks
On second thought..... I better write that down 8/ lol

Thanks for the advice. I'll have to remember that for
when the machine starts acting up. thumbsup01
