Hunted another old sidewalk and field for about an hour and a half and when i got back to my car....No shovel 8/ couldn't find it when i back tracked...oh well i have a back up. But it gives me a good excuse to get a lesche :yes: dug a 1990 quarter :peace:

Lost my shovel once....my detecting buddy gave me a hard time..Ya know it's made of metal...and you have a metal detector...yeah yeah...so funny :ticked:

I know that feeling too. Several years back I lost my digger but did not notice it until I had a very nice signal and went to reach for it. 8/ At least you had fun out there. :yes:

you lost your shovel because you didnt have a use for it on this hunt .. at least you got out................... i dont like that tall grass.it is a tough go in the high grass

Sorry to hear about the shovel. I always carry a screw driver for shallow finds. Can't count the number of times i left it setting and walked away. Good thing is i've always found it. Had it 5 years now. One day i'm sure i will lose it.

yep been there done that and it was a lesche $50.00 mistake :bangahead01: :bangshead02: so far it hasnt happened again LOL. nice looking hunt though.

Thats a bummer losing your shovel, a friend lost his Pro Pointer the other day and we have looked for it quite often but no luck so far.

Sorry about your losing your shovel Evan. I lost one of my diggers in Spencers Island, Nova Scotia. It gives me an excuse to go back. lol

I have lost just about everything that you can think of except my hunting partner. lol Maybe this year will be his turn :thinkingabout: Hope you can find it. At best it's an excuse to try another type of shovel.
