It measures roughly 2 by 3

it doesnt look like a watch mechanism to me , although it could be .. maybe a kitchen timer or a part of a mechanical toy.. that all i got bro .. cool find though.

I not sure but I think it is one of two sides out of an old time camara,used for rolling the film.don't quote me on it thoe.
