ring, fossil, purse

I got a chance to hunt with my buddy Steve yesterday (at a school) and the sod was frozen down to about an inch in places but we managed to get through and were finding some coins and other stuff. I went over to check a part of the school yard that he had already hunted and found a dime, a nickle, and then a silver ring. I teased him about how I thought he had already hunted it. ?? A few minutes later in another spot I got an overload hit (near the surface) and just right under the grass I found a watch. ??
I couldn't believe it !! I was doing the dance in the school yard. I couldn't believe I would find a watch under the grass. He couldn't believe it either. The tire and spider ring were eyeball finds.

Then a few minutes later I came running over and yelled that I had found a purse. I was giddy with the trickets I was pulling out of the turf. He found his first pocket spill of 6 coins and lots of other coins too.

33 coins..... 2 Quarters, 6 dimes, 3 nickels, 21 pennies. It was a blast but our fingers and feet were frozen by the end of it.

I think the watch needs a battery. I asked my wife if she wanted it but she doesn't so it doesn't look like it's going to get a battery anytime soon.
