Four hour park hunt. Think I found a bullet.

Got to hunt for about 4 hours. Got a lot of clad. Just as much trash. One wheatie. And I think some sort of bullet. Its pretty big.

Yep! I'm betting a fired 50 cal. round...it amazes me that semi-smart people point guns in the air and fire away,not thinking that bullets fall back somewhere...I find lots of bullets,never a 50 though :thinkingabout:,looks like you are getting the hang of that tector,congrats on the wheaty :beerbuddy:

That is one big slug :shocked04: :shocked04: I've found some of those and they are monsters. I think a lot of them were used as sniper bullets, but also for machine guns too, I think. :confused: Great day of clad hunting and congrats on the Wheaty :clapping:

Good finds thumbsup01 Use a caliper to measure the width of the bullet to find the caliber. It is a spitzer boattail.
