Real Short Hunt Gets the Gold!

Howdy Folks!
After enduring a drought that has lasted almost three weeks now, I finally scored gold!
I went out on a short hunt, hit one school with 6 tot lots on it, and on the very last one I checked got the gold earring you'll see in the photo. It is 10k and smallish. But I'll take all the gold I can get, thanks all the same! LOL! I also found a smallish star pin of some sort.

Note to Exsquid: I hit this gold item at the same school we visited while you were here for a visit. It was the one we hit last together. If I remember right, you got silver at that one too!

Anyhow, the gold was the very last target I hit for the day. Not much of a day, however, considering I only visited one location.

My take was:
9 Quarters = $2.25
5 Nickels = $0.25
5 Dimes = $0.50
5 Pennies = $0.05
Total = $3.05
Coin Count = 24 Coins!

Our weather took a dive for the worse so not sure when I can get back out....going to try at lunch today but right now its only in the mid twenties.... Yuk... lol but it is supposed to rain tomorrow & Friday and more snow on Saturday... :-\

Well for starters, I visit most tot lots in the area on a regular rotation basis.
They ain't got time to get nasty. Since I seldom go a month before visiting a particular site,
and we have a semiarid environment, they won't have time to turn nasty. I'll get 'em before
that happens!
