Last 2 days hunts,,,,I'm on the board for 2011!!!!!!!

Got out yesterday the 19th for an afternoon hunt at several spots that I had just a little more tecting to do at. Not much to speak of,,,got 12 cents in clad,,,2 wheats,,cool Harley Davidson lighter,,,and sweet old toy gas truck. Still have a bunch of yard to do at the place where I got the wheats,,,I have found around 20 wheats in this old yard and still not a single silver coin,,,,they are there I know!
Today, the 20th,,I went to a house in the country that is for sale to be moved,,,,no one lives there and it's right along the highway. I figured someone surely has hit it,,,it's not that old,,,probably early 40s house. (I don't think anyone has detected it!!) :happydance01: :happydance01: :happydance01:
I was only digging the good signals today. Went through a bunch of the front yard,,,some of the side yard. Definitely going to grid this place nice and slow!! :drool: :drool: :drool: :drool:
Had some good luck. I got $1.77 in clad,,,old pocket knife,,3 religious medals, (Catholic country),,,,12 wheats,,,,1919 the oldest,,most in the 40s and 50s.Managed to sweep across 5 silver dimes <: <: :happydance01: :happydance01: happydance02 happydance02 3 Rosies,,1947,,1954 and 1964. 2 Mercs 1944 and 1945 :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: Didn't get to the back yard and very little of the side yards. I dug 2 Rosies and 4 or 5 wheats along the sidewalk as I was getting ready to leave. I hope nobody buys this place for a while,,,,As soon as they can,,,it's gonna be farm ground.

Glad you were able to hunt the undisturbed ground before it turned into farm field. Sounds like you are right, grid the heck out of that place before you need to get permission from the new owner too.

Hi Dave,,,,Health wise I'm doing very well,,,I have not felt this good in over a year. Took me a long time to recoup from the cancer treatments,,,,still have some things to deal with,,,but those are nothing compared to what the alternative was.
I'm hoping these finds are just the start of one fantastic year for me as last year was a year that I'd just soon forget. Thanks for your concern!!!!
