a little bit of grass!! <:
Just had to get out and try. The ground was wet/sloppy and still frozen but it was a good time.
I was able to swing the coil for just about an hour. A couple of pull tabs and a few pieces of clad was all I managed... but, I wasn't expecting too much.
I had a 8/ moment when I first started today. I knew it had been a while since hearing the tones, but things just didn't seem quite right with the sound and cursor placement. After about the first 15 minutes I was convinced something was just off. Then it hit me, check the sound setting. Sure enough, it was still set on Ferrous sounds instead of Conductive. lol I was experimenting a little with some air tests over the winter set on Ferrous sounds and forgot to change it back.
After switching back to Conductive... everything sounded very familiar.
Although extremely muddy, it was great getting back out there. I think I'll wait a little longer until the ground thaws and dries out a little. Today's fix should hold me over... should.
