Three ring day , #8 , 9 & 10 for 2011

Got out this morning for a 4 hour hunt between two schools . I was able to find a silver ring at both and the big junk skull ring at the 2nd school :happydance01:. No old coins but did find $16.01 in clad . thumbsup01

I sold it two day's ago . It did not even come close to the appraisal . I shopped it around to 7 different jewelers and all said the same thing . Low quality diamonds and not much weight to the gold . They all offered $200.00 - 250.00 . I saw the same ring sell for $547.00 on EBAY so I sold it there for $325.00 . I am happy with that , it's $325.00 I found thumbsup01.

Well thats a bummer Glen,the ring was worth more,but they have to make a profit too :rolleyes: I have had the same results with local jewelers here too...I will only sell my gold and silver to Mid-West Refiners,they seem to give a fair price...Still a great find and the money don't hurt,you just got to find a better one this season and it looks like you are on your way :beerbuddy: keep them coming,can't wait to see what you hit next,Dave
