Holy cow Steve you guy's out east have been getting hammered hard this winter for quite sometime now, you are way overdue for a good thaw, most of the time we get it bad in Michigan but it hasn't been real bad this year, I'd say average.

Ouch !! That stuffs going in the wrong direction for any future metal detecting.
We've got some snow on the ground but nothing like that . You guys can keep it out there lol
Hopefully we've only got another 5 or 6 weeks of this thumbsup01
She can't warm up fast enough.......

Howdy Steve!
We are going to enjoy a high of 56 degrees today, and in the 60s tomorrow.
I'd invite you to visit Colorado right now, and come see my excellent hunting grounds!
Odds are real good you'd go home with gold or silver.
Assuming, that is, that your airports aren't shut down tight!
Otherwise, I'll be thinking about you folks back east while I take a shot at hunting today myself.
I'll be on severely restricted activity, but figure I might find a little something if I get myself out!
Anybody else back east that wants to hunt, you'd be welcome in Colorado! Come on out!
We ain't got no snow on the Front Range!
Blessings,
M-Taliesin

Wow that's some deep snow Steve... :frozen: :frozen: :frozen:
We don't usually get that much at one time here in Ky. We've got about 2 or 3 and 30 degrees. I'm getting ready to TRY to do a little detecting today- we'll see how frozen the ground is

Yep Steve, we got about a foot today  Lucky I could improvise a key for the snowblower that we lost somehow 8/ It's looking like I may have to revise my goals for this year since I'm usually detecting 4 or 5 times in January. This is the latest start to a season that I can remember. But the driveway is clean and now I hear we are getting 2 more small? storms on Fri and Sat. YIPPEE :cheering: :cheering: :cheering:
I got over a foot here too. :frozen:
