Here are some of my faves of the year... I have a few bigger items that I haven't included, like Davy Crockett's uncle's revolutionary war stirrup! lol
If anyone knows anything special about any of these, please share! The Ky drivers liscence badge is from 1941- it may be hard to read. And I found the Croix de Guerre french war medal pretty deep, right next to my mom's flower bed!

Me too... :loveit: I've been showing some friends and family lately--- now they understand a little better why I go out in the rain and snow and mud and get shot at by shotguns, etc lol Besides love of adventure. Do you have people who think you're crazy to go the lengths you do?

Oh, I want to clarify that I DID have permission to hunt when I got shot at the other day... the guy didn't recognize me bundled up and/or was trying to scare the daylights out of me. My buddy Dave who was there also- he thinks he and the sheriff were just playing around...
 I'm still mad over that... not very nice to scare a mom of 2 young boys (no, they weren't with me). And like someone said here in my stomping grounds- that's Kentucky for ya lol

I've had gun shots go off nearby when I was metal detecting over in Battle Creek once but it was in a neighborhood about a block away (a lot of people get shot there and here quite a bit) but to have it happen out where you were at would be kinda scary. :shocked04:
