We had a morning visit this morning :) they were eating the bird food from the feeder.
Really Snowing up here in the Northern California ....Near Mt Lassen...

Beautiful part of our State Dave!! Used to camp at the PG&E camp at Lake Britton and walk up to Burney Falls, great memories! :yes:

I love the deer photos. I can almost hear the intense quiet that is part of that snow scene. :) I love it.

Those look like Black tail bucks. Are they considered Colombian Black tails ?
Very cool for a midwesterner to see. They look like racks off a mulie, on a small whitetail frame, with a black tail !! 8)

I remember when I was a kid down in Florida camping and checking out the deer down there, they're like midgets compared to the deer here. They were little tiny bucks with huge racks on them with points like you wouldn't believe.

Out here Larry, we only count the side with the most points. This deer is what we call a forked horn.

Venison...Yummy!! Great pictures! I'll have to post the pictures of the deer and bears we that would visit our yard when I lived on the USAF Academy.
