Short story of how I got a group together and go searching for items at a old Armory building in Houston with some friends.
This building was built in 1925 and the Light Guard, formed in 1873 moved into the new building in late 1925.
Some interesting items were dug, researched and were of the correct time that the original Houston Light Guard had used the building in the years 1925-1940.
Some old screw in fuses, some old bullit casings, an old ID plate from an Electrical generator that the company went backrupt in 1910. The generator had been moved from the old building to be used in the new 1925 building.
The National Guard used the building from the 1940's until about 1995.
I hope you enjoy my video.
