southeast Louisiana. I am looking forward to seeing all that is going on here as I see many familiar names. I detect for anything buried in the ground and come up with mostly trash with a few good finds in between and that makes me happy.... :grin:

Is has been a bit chilly down here in the Texas Gulf Coast region... hope it gets back up in the mid 50's so we can get out and do some detecting. Those 30-40 degree temps....we ain't use to those. :frozen:

I went on vacation down your way (Sportsmans Paradise) from Nov 71 to the end of Jan 72 at a little place called Ft Polk :grin:


Wow what a small world dude. lol I went thru Fort Polk in 1971 also during the summer months. I'll have to dig out my DD 214 to see exactly what months.
