Hello everyone, this is my first finds post on the forum, I used the 1899 for my avatar too. I found these in a city park that's half woods and half grass so there's about 5 acres of woods, I've been hammering this spot for years and have made many good finds there, heck it's only a mile from me.

Lovely barber dime  Welcome to the forum! Looking forward to seeing more of your finds. Glad you got out for a hunt on Christmas Eve... We have a bit too much snow and blustery winds here in Kentucky- for any hunting :crying02:

Thanks for all the great replies everyone thumbsup01 Willy it's the ole park/woods spot about a mile from my house, my brother keeps saying (and has been say for the last couple years) that there ain't nothing left there. I'll go for quite a while without detecting it and then go back and find something else nice, it's where I made one of my best finds for 2010 the gold pocket watch in January this year and that was also a time when there was plenty of snow on the ground.

With a spot that's still coughing up the goodies like those.......it's mighty hard to walk away from lol
But its funny sometimes like this. I've had good luck at spots that my friends have had no luck and visea versa .
Keep poundin' it!!
Beautiful finds!! I do love findin' those Barbers !!
Congrats !

Thanks for all the great replies everyone thumbsup01 when you think about it there's isn't a real big area that a detector is going to hear at it's deepest depth even the DD coils. When I take this into consideration I'm sure there's stuff still there I just have to find it. Also when you're hunting a woods from year to year they actually do change quite a bit with all the critters and other mother nature surprises like huge trees falling down etc.
