RTD and I found a place where they were tearing out an old walk way and puting in a new sidewalk so when they were scraping it off we went in behind the machines with our machines LOL I found an 1897 Barber dime as well as a 1942 mercury dime, and six wheat pennies, 1926,1930,1941,1944,1957, and 1959.
RTD also found some wheat pennies and a 1911 bufalo nickle.
enjoy:
The foreman to the project said he didn't care if we were there but he wanted us to wear safety vests so guess where we went that afternoon LOL.
Thanks for looking.

Pretty soon he's gonna issue you guys some bigger shovels and put you to work lol Great finds and really surprised he let you guys stay. What a break that was thumbsup01 Nice silvers and that is much better than I usually do when I see a naked sidewalk ;)

Way to go Sarge! That's a great hunt. Good job spotting a chance to get the good stuff.

Very nice RS1.
I've never had much luck under the sidewalks, but like you have proven.... great stuff hiding there.
Well done!

Congrats on the great finds!
I have had very little success with sidewalk tearouts. The first one I did was a silver mine, but it was an old spot. Every other time the original sidewalk was dugout and sanded before laying the concrete, so there is nothing left to find.
