Today I took one of those long drives I dread, but the site I wanted to hit was too tempting to pass up. Once there I worked the site as best as I could during the time I had available and managed to dig up four silver dimes, one Draped Bust large cent, a 2-cent piece, four Indian Head cents, a V Nickel, and a handful of wheat cents.

The dimes are dated 1892, 1916, 1942, and 1944.

This 1802 beauty makes my eleventh Draped Bust cent this year, and my 59th large cent.

This 2-cent piece is in great condition. It's my seventh 2-center this year. :smitten:

The Indian Head cents should clean up well. They are dated 1886, 1895, 1897, and 1900.

There are 23 wheat cents in the pile.

Nice Draped Bust Angel :shocked04: :shocked04: She will clean up well ;) Great finds and a very good soil area. Nice hunt.

Wow Angel :shocked04:

The 2 cent and the large cent are my favorites from these finds....1802 :shocked04: :shocked04: :clapping:

The 2 cent sure cleaned up beautifully.

Very impressive.

Wow, that 1802 is a beauty....Your variety of coins and locations is admirable and awesome. :peace:

Thank you Aaron! :beerbuddy:

nice draped bust bud :loveit: heres a 1802 i dug at a farmfield. willy

That's a nice one too. I have found several others dated 1802, but this last one is the best one yet. It held up well.

Nice 1802 copper. Is that the best it will clean up?

I haven't really cleaned it yet. I just gave it one hot peroxide bath to remove some of the soil for the photo. Now I'm treating it Verdi-Care to remove the verdigris, after which I'll remove the rest of the soil and apply some coin conditioner. It should look great. :smitten:
