I dont usually dig nickles , always a pop top or tab , today i dug 6 signals , 3 nickles and a button , the others were pop tops, 1 buffalo and 1 ,1940, . any ideas on the button

Nice stuff Dave. Digging nickels can be very well worth it.

Buffalos are always fun to add to the collection.

I found a few nickels tonight myself... I'll be posting soon.

I think it's a GAR (Grand Army of the Republic) button, but I'm just guessing.

Man, I better start keeping those buttons, maybe even sell them to you George lol Seriously, I keep the old ones and ditch (properly) the ones I can tell are modern drops.

Nice finds! Apparenly it PAYS to dig those nickel signals!

i never miss a nickle signal ,i have found buffalo's v's and 1 very large 14k gold wedding band,clad nickles too,they all add up.
