went back to the home forino and myself hit last week that gave up the 4 large cents.
no large cents today but,got some clad,a few wheaties.
2 tombac buttons.one has 4 holes rather than a shank.a colonial drawer pull.
more dang dog tags!and a very nice sterling spoon ony a few feet away from where mike pulled his large cent.how ya miss this signal mikey? locked in on a solid quarter reading at 5 inches..thought for sure it was gonna be a large cent!a nice suprise regardless.. a pocket watch with a train on the plating thats peeling off

Man, some cool stuff there Dave. That sterling spoon is sweet! A very nice chunk! Mike must have been distracted by his large cent find to have missed it. :)

Nice silver spoon. That's the best find of the day. That drawer key, lock plate sems kinda old too. But there has to be more coppers there somewhere.
HMN... I think I recognize that train-engraved watch back. I think IslandHunter (I'm pretty sure, anyway) found one jus' like it. I hope he replies to this with a pic of his (I have one, but it'd come better from him).
We used it in one of our Christmas CD's for our members a year or 2 ago.

thanks G! yeah i think the drawer plate is colonial.i was hoping for more coppers.i spent 8 hrs there today.other than the spoon no copper signals. :crying02:
