Since I couldn't get out this weekend... a little treasure hunting was in order tonight after work.
A couple of wheats and the 'saltine cracker of silver coins'... old faithful, a rosie. lol

Good job on the wheats and silver. Funny, I always thought of the merc as the much more common silver coin.

A Rosie has come to my rescue on several occasions as well. lol Nice one, Joe! I love seeing the reverse of the wheat cents too. :yes:

I've heard other people say this and it seems odd to me; I dig at least twice as many Rosies and I do Mercs. No doubt that's just because of the places I'm hunting though.

When I park hunted with Angel, I was begging for a Roosevelt lol When I finally found a second one, I was in Heaven rofl Nice silver, no matter what it is thumbsup01 That '37 is in great shape too!!

I'd take a Merc before a Rosie any day.... don't know why. :dontknow: I guess I just really like the design of the Mercury dime.
I do stay pretty evenly matched though with the two. For some reason I'm always about 1 or 2 difference in totals. I like to be well rounded... lol
