This past Saturday, May 18 I got out for a day of door knocking in a small town in central Illinois with Digger Don and Noah. Almost everyone said yes but we could tell several of the yards had been detected before. Nevertheless, we all got some decent keepers.
My first good find of the day was a spill of 5 Indian Head Cents in the same hole! This was a new record for me. I had previously found 3 in one hole on a few occasions but never 5. The dates were 1881, 1887, 1887, 1889, and 1892.
Later in the day I found a 1964 Washington Quarter and a 1926 Buffalo Nickel in the same yard, then a 1916 Mercury Dime in the yard next door.
Overall it was a very fun but HOT day of detecting. 71476

Thanks for looking and happy hunting! :beerbuddy:
