Went out in the backyard this afternoon to begin to learn how this operates.
I have not updated it yet as I wanted to see before & after tests, to see what if anything changed.
What I noticed is that a Sliver quarter did not ring up at all, which I have no idea why, so need your help as to what the issue is.
Washington Quarter - No response.
Indian Head - 55
1/2 Real - 82
Seated Dime - 87
Large Cent - 88

Interesting. Are these coins buried in your test plot? I've seen some videos on YouTube about the manticore and apparently the settings are tricky (?).

Nope, I just placed them flat on the ground.

So odd, no quarter. I hope you figure it out!

I have had no issues like that! Try a noise cancel and maybe that will work. A quarter should be 89-91.

There's a big thread over on Friendly about this issue. Seems to be defective coils from the factory. I've reached out to ML to see what to do.

Wow! These coils must be really special in some way. The other coils are still not available from Minelab and it’s been over a year! Hope they swap it out for you quick!
Minelab swapped out a coil for my eTrac when it went bad about 8 years ago and I got it back in less than a week.

ML reached out to me this afternoon & is sending me a new coil.
Catch is they're sending me a label (hopefully a box as well) & once they get my coil back, they'll ship my new one out same day.
