The 1852 trime was deep, it wasn't in the first plug...I don't know exactly how deep as it was in the piles of dirt I took out of the hole.
It was found with the D2, Deep HC, 9in coil. I'm guessing my Nox would have found it with the 11in coil but I may not have dug it, as it would have sounded like an angel whispering...it's sweet sounding but sometimes doesn't jar your mind. The D2 YELLS at you. There is no mistaking tones on this thing. I need someone yelling at me, DIG DUMMY!

Well done! That is a coin that has eluded me. How many have you found?

Fantastic recovery of a tiny little coin, Drew! It still has wonderful detail and looks like it would clean up nicely if you were so inclined. You guys are making the Deus II sound like a real winner!

:congrats:

Very nice Drew! Most people are lucky to have found only 1, but you've got the whole family!

Thanks, fellas!
Stock Deep HC, Jeff. I was able to raise the sens to 95.
Every time I try a site I dig a hole, stick a quarter in the wall at about 10in, fill it in and see what works. Deep HC was way better than relic, my own relic program, general, or any of the others.
Question for you, when you frequency scan on a program then switch programs, frequency scan on that program, go back to the original program, do you have to scan again?

Great find. That coin has eluded me as well. I believe my Dad found the nickel variety in the '70's, but I have never found either one. Congrats. WD

Thank you, guys...I've never found the nickel variety, it would be very crusty around here. Our shield nickels are usually in bad shape.
