The last few weeks have been warm enough to allow me to do some detecting here in Michigan. The spill came last week when I visited an old fairgrounds and came across a nickel signal that also jumped high on the VDI scale. About 8 inches down I found a couple V nickels and then I found another in my dirt pile. Then rechecking the hole I got another hit and out came what I think is an old key fob that says "Ford Moror Co." and then rechecking the hole again a slick old barber dime showed up. It is an 1896 S and is a semi key date...too bad it is smooth and has a bit of environmental damage as it would have been worth a decent amount of money but its cool to find a semi key date no matter the condition.
So the spill had an 1896S dime, 1884, 1908 and 1911 V nickels and then the Ford Motor Co tag or key fob in it.

Thanks for looking! Jared
