I finished with work a couple hours earlier than expected today.... so what better to do? :dontknow:

The Merc was a surprise. It was only 1 inch down. It was a very strange signal. Initially it stopped me long enough to investigate, but I decided to leave it go because of the extreme dryness of the ground.... the plugs just aren't recovering very well. I took one step moving on and curiosity just got the better of me. So I stepped back, pinpointed and dug.

I'm really, really enjoying this new machine.

It is indeed strange how sometime old silver is so shallow... Great Job!!

Beautiful detail on that Merc :shocked04: Sometimes I like a bit of dirt on them to give them contrast and that aged look :yes: Nice pair of dimes. You are doing a great job with a new machine.
