I met up with Digger Don and Noah for a weekend of detecting in Ohio. We couldn't believe how dry the ground is there.
I got the 1865 Indian Head right off the bat on Saturday. It is worn but it cleaned up really well. The silver Washington came from the same yard.
The 1912-D Barber Dime and the 1944 Merc came from the yard of a mid-1800s house where Don and Tim had previously found seated coins.
The 1893 and 1898 Indian Heads were in a spill together at a 1920s house.
I got the complete crotal bell towards the end of the day on Saturday in a curb strip. It has some green corrosion that won't come off easily. It still has the jingler inside. I had never found one this big before.

Although the finds weren't exactly what we were hoping for we still had fun!
Thanks for looking and happy hunting! :beerbuddy:
