This morning I had planned to meet up with midas to detect at a local lake, but other things came up, so I had to cancel. Once I took care of things I headed to a local site in the afternoon to do some dirt digging. Except for local traffic, the place was quiet. It made for an enjoyable time detecting as I was able to fully concentrate on the deep signals. I did well, picking up four silver coins, three from the 1800's. :happydance01:
This is my third Canadian five cent silver (fish scale) this year, and the oldest of the three, dated 1872-H.

The Barber dime is dated 1898-O. The 1853 seated dime has no mint mark. That was my first find, and it made me focus.

I can barely make out an image on this Colonial copper. There is no date that I am able to make out.

Both Indian Head cents are dated 1891. The wheat cents did not do too well in that soil.

I hope everyone enjoyed the weekend!
