First Dollar

Detecting in some old lakefront cabins. The woods have their own challenges. My first Morgan dollar. Found in a small dirt berm that had been created when burying a cable. 6 brass shell cases (.30 WCF, 3 L C 52(?), 2 .22 short.

Congrats on the Morgan Dollar! That is an amazing find! They must have brought it closer to the surface when they were digging the trench for the cable.

I am still looking for my first silver dollar. Maybe someday!
