Noah and I headed up to Wisconsin Saturday. We hit two towns and the Silver was scarce in both, but they did leave a few low & mid tones for us. The first house of the morning produced 4 Indians for me ( my first coin of the day was an 1864 Indian ). No coins at the house across the street, but I did dig a 1921 Milwaukee state bank Token there.
We hit a few more houses over the coarse of the day. I was able to pull 4 more Indians, a buff, a 43-P war nickel and a very nice Tavern Token. I also dug a cool little button 11" down at an 1860s house.
Kind of strange that I dug 8 Indians and only 6 wheats for the day.
Thanks for looking!!

That is a lot of Indians! And most in the 1800s. Strange that you did not get more silver. Still an awesome hunt.

Wow, 8 Indian Heads in one hunt is amazing! I'd say that you definitely have your coil issue figured out!
I really like that 1921 bank token. What a cool piece of history. That city hall building is still there. It was finished in 1895.
I like the tavern token too, and it cleaned up well. I detected a park in Baraboo, Wisconsin with rgorman one time several years ago.
It's good to see you back in your groove, Don! Congrats on the finds! :clapping:

Geesh Don, I guess you got you mojo back for sure! Kind of reminds me of the time we pulled 16 Indian head cents out of that half a yard that time! I love the tokens especially the tavern one. Great job. Happy digging!

Not a bad hunt at all Don! Lots of IHs, a couple of super cool tokens!
Congrats!
You definitely whipped my butt. Next time we go out sweep through my side of the yard to see if I missed anything. Maybe I need a new coil LOL!

Sorry Don. I got all the silver out of there when I was a kid. Just kidding.. Congrats on your finds. Enjoyed the YouTube video of you and your new favorite tree. Isn't it strange that the grass seems greener in different towns you hunt out of state and yet we find the same things? It adds a little excitement.
