66238662396624066241I found this 1832 Matron head at the park within 10 yards of where I found the Ct copper last week. I literally had only 5 or 10 minutes of battery life left when I got the sketchy deep signal. So a 1829 half cent, this largie, a 1788 Ct copper and 2 silver rings (my wife confiscated the other one) along with the sterling religious medal, 5 mercs, about 15 wheats and $12 in clad in the last 2 weeks. As far as variety goes probably my best 2 weeks ever and every find within a mile of my house! And my back hurts lol.

Excellent finds! You have done very well these last 2 weeks. I have never seen a religious medal like that one before. Couldn't they find a better looking nun though?

Now, that is my kind of park! There are some really old coins there, not to mention silver jewelry. That Large Cent cleaned up pretty well. Nice!

Excellent Mike! You've really started the year off with a bang, and being close to your house - doesn't get any better than that. So when the wife calls you can say "I"ll be home in 5 minutes!" instead of "I'll start heading home - be there in an hour".

Congrats on another Largie. I've found a lot of religious Medals but never one that looked like that one. Very Nice WD.
